So you know how there’s always this war between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Well my physics teacher just taught my class, that while one degree difference in Celsius and Kelvin is the same, Fahrenheit is fucked up. Kelvin starts at the absolute coldest it can be (0 K/-273 C), that makes sense. Celsius follow water, which every living thing needs, meaning 0 C is where water melts and 100 C is where it turns into gas. Fahrenheit however. Does not have a thing they follow, hence making it weird af. So really, according to science. Kelvin is the way to measure temperature, if not Kelvin, then Celsius…

I sat next to Carrie Fisher at an event in 2008. She was the keynote speaker and before she took the stage she turned to me and asked if she had lipstick on her teeth. Without waiting for an answer she said “eh, who gives a fuck” and winked at me. It was the best keynote address I’ve ever heard.
